Open/Elite/Coaches Events
- The 2007 Henderson Track and Field invitation will feature an open mile, for local elite athletes and for coaches! To add some excitement and local flavor to the Henderson Track and Field Invitational, the mile will be one of the highlights of the meet!
- The mile will be run around 8:35 with times sure to be hovering around four minutes or below.
- There is no entry cost!
- Prizes are $500 for first place, $300 for second place, and $100 for third place, with a special prize for the first individual to break 4:00.
- Please e-mail Kevin Kelly by April 30th if you wish to compete in this event. In your e-mail include your personal best times, a biography, or anything else which the announcer can read to pump up the crowd. It should be great!
- If you will be competing in this event, please arrive by 7:45 and check in at the elite mile registration table near the entrance gate. Here you will receive your entry number.
The Open/Elite/Coaches mile has been cancelled for 2007 due to the lack of interest.
