As many of you know, Sir Roger Bannister, the first human to break 4:00 in the mile, passed away this morning. He was a great inspiration to the running community.

Here is this week’s training:
5k/10k runners(and Broad Street Runners)-Tuesday-We’re back to the track. Workout starts at 5:50AM at Henderson. We’ll have a little light this week and then back to darkness. Please encourage everyone to come out to the track. 2-3 x 2400 w/200JR at 10k pace. There will be something different for newcomers. Friday-8 x :90 w/:90 rest on the Fernhill loop starting at 5:30AM. Long Run=10-12
B & A Trail Marathoners-Tuesday-4 x 2400 w/200JR at 10k pace. Friday-No workout. Sunday-8 miles easy(1:00 slower than MP), then 2 x 5 miles at MP minus 10-15 seconds w/1 mile easy in between and then 1 mile easy for a cool down.
Boston-Tuesday-5 x 2400 w/200 JR at 10k pace. Wed-1:35:00 easy. Sunday-90:00(timed to finish at 12:55), St. Pat’s 5k, 30:00 cool down.
